My snoring prevented me from enjoying life like a normal college kid was supposed to. Anytime I started dating a girl, my first thought was about my snoring and how if we ever slept together, she’d snicker at me like my friends did. It was a humiliating experience that I was in no rush to relive.
As I grew older, my snoring continued to haunt me. Every time I closed my eyes I wondered how bad my snoring would be. As I grew more aware of my snoring, I developed trouble sleeping. I became a light sleeper and my snoring actually woke me up on occasion. That in turn made my sleeping that much worse.
Eventually I met a nice girl and she didn’t mind my snoring nearly as much as I feared she would. We fell in love and I started to live a normal life…probably for the first time since college.
