MiddleAge.org has been online since 1998. Since then, it has had nearly 4 million visitors who have ranged in age from 20 to 80 and have come from over 100 nations.
My goal is to not only help eliminate limiting thinking about “middle age”, but to also provide steps and processes to assist in making that change. In addition, I have added information on other topics including nutrition, fitness, natural healing and all other aspects I feel are necessary to provide a great life in middle age and beyond.
It all started when I was a teenager. When I was in my last year of high school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do for college, so my father sent me to a prominent university to be tested to find out what I was suited for. Unfortunately for him, the tests showed that I could do anything I was drawn to, but they also showed my intelligence to be in the top 1% of the world, revealing my potential to succeed at anything I tried.
With my not having any clear direction, my dad suggested I go to chiropractic college. Although I wasn’t excited about it, it seemed a good choice at the time. I wound up spending 4 years there, but I finally lost my desire and left only a few months before I graduated. In the meantime, however, I learned a lot about the body and natural health and healing.
While I was in college, I became interested in personal growth, and so I started reading about it, as well as attending meeting, workshops, etc. These days, meditation has become very popular, but I was doing it in 1966. I took weekend workshops and once spent 7 days meditating all day from morning till night. I also started my vegetarian diet, which I have followed for most of the past 50 years, and I have been flowing a vegan diet for the past 6 years.
You may have read about superfoods, like algae; I was growing my own in the 70’s, as well as making my own tofu, tempeh and bread. I was studying yoga and Tai Chi and then I was teaching Tai Chi.
Please understand; I am not bragging. I’m just showing you that I have put a lot of effort into learning how to be happy and healthy, and that I’d like to share my knowledge with you.
A Half-Million People!
In the early ‘80’s I created a magazine for natural health and healing, personal growth, and other related topics. It wound up being highly successful and had the largest circulation of any publication of its type. More than 500,000 readers looked to me for the best information. I sold that magazine after 10 years, and got involved with the Internet. And that lead me here.
And a Half-Century
For the past 50+ years, I have used my gift of a sharp mind and my desire to always know more, to learn and apply many ways to be healthy and happy. Now, at age 72, I feel that it’s time for me to share my knowledge with the world, and I thus created this Website. I truly hope that you will take advantage of my efforts and utilize their results to “make the rest of your life the best of your life”.
My commitment to you is to use my abilities to provide you with the very best ways to improve your life. I search the Internet for the latest accurate and scientifically-proven ways to be happy and healthy, and then evaluate them based on my extensive experience.
I will always be 100% truthful with you. I will never promote something I don’t believe in. I believe that I have to earn your trust by proving my genuine intentions for your happiness and well-being. I truly value your trust, and I believe it is an obligation for me to never betray it.
I truly hope that you will take advantage of my efforts and utilize their results to “make the rest of your life the best of your life”.
